This little gadget that im holding in my hand is called the Mylo (MyLifeOnline). With this gadget by sony, you have the Internet in your hand. This gadget can do it all. Instant messaging, video, music, Skype, and web browsing. All of these tools brought to you over your wifi.

The reason I bought this was because cell phones don’t work where I live, so I needed some way my family could contact me.

With the skype service you can make all the calls you want, for extremely cheap too.

The instant messaging services it has are, Google Talk, Yahoo, and Skype.

The thing I don’t understand, is why in the world it doesn’t have Aim. Aim is the service that all my friends have. If there is one reason I don’t think this product will take off its that one right there.

Another cool feature it has is a built in searchable hotspot database. You type in your city and state and it will find a free hotspot near you. This is really cool when you are on the road.

The video feature is nice, but I had a little trouble getting videos on it. After I found this tutorial I got it working pretty well. I has a gig of on board storage with a Memory Stick PRO Duo expansion slot. With the on board storage alone, I can hold many 40 minute podcasts (Diggnation).

It has a qwerty keyboard which make instant messanging simple. You can also write text files with it, so you can write notes when you are on the go.

Overall its a pretty good gadget, one that I use every day. Pricing at around $300.
