Hi Jason!

Ack. Through a COMPLETE bumbling on our part, we’ve accidentally attempted
to charge you for the ENTIRE year of 2008 (and probably 2009!) ALREADY
(it was all due to a fat finger)!

We’re really really realllly embarassed about this, but you have nothing
to worry about. Please ignore any confusing billing messages you may have
received recently; we’ve already removed all those bum future charges on
your account (#******) and fixed everything up.

Thank you very very much for your patience with this.. we PROMISE
this won’t happen again. There’s no need to reply to this message unless
of course you have any other questions at all!

Sincerely,
The Foolish DreamHost Billing Team!

How to make a comic.

September 11th, 2007

Every wanted to make your own comic strip? Well this short tutorial will show you how.

First visit the Stripgenerator. This is a really cool web app that has pre-made characters and objects to allow you to quickly put your content together.

When you have your comic finished, hit the publish button, then on the next page, right click on the image and save it.

The only problem with the comic now, is the url on the side pointing to where you made it, well I’ve written a little app to take care of that.

Just download the StripTrimmer, then install it. After it is installed run it. It will ask you for the comic, find it and hit ok. It will then ask you for the number of panels in your comic, 1, 2, or 3.

In this screen all you do is type in what you would like to appear on the side instead of the url, then save it.Note:the program exports as gif.

Good Luck,
