If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Have you ever came across an interesting page while looking for something, but didn’t have time to read it? Is your bookmark toolbar a mess because you bookmark pages for reading later then forget to read/delete them. The Instapaper is the solution for you.
Here is what the creator, Marco, has to say about it.
Here’s the basic premise:
- You come across substantial news or blog articles that you want to read, but don’t have time at the moment.
- You need something to read while sitting on a bus, waiting in a line, or bored in front of a computer.
Instapaper solves both of those problems.
Its a very simple signup process, so simple you don’t even need a password.
Then once you are logged in, you just drag the bookmarklt to your bookmark bar. Then later when you are browsing and come across an interesting page, all you have to do is hit the “Read Later” button on your browser toolbar.
Later when you want to read those pages, just go to http://www.instapaper.com/, and all of your pages come up, and are marked undread. Then when you click on one of the links, it becomes read.
The website is pretty slim too, perfect for viewing on mobile devices.
Enjoy,
Jason

Hi Jason!
Ack. Through a COMPLETE bumbling on our part, we’ve accidentally attempted
to charge you for the ENTIRE year of 2008 (and probably 2009!) ALREADY
(it was all due to a fat finger)!
We’re really really realllly embarassed about this, but you have nothing
to worry about. Please ignore any confusing billing messages you may have
received recently; we’ve already removed all those bum future charges on
your account (#******) and fixed everything up.
Thank you very very much for your patience with this.. we PROMISE
this won’t happen again. There’s no need to reply to this message unless
of course you have any other questions at all!
Sincerely,
The Foolish DreamHost Billing Team!
Haha, thanks for the emails guys. Emails like this remind me/us there are real people behind all of these services.
DreamHost is a fantastic hosting service and I highly recommend them.
(DreamHost please forgive me for posting this :))

With this new service created by four ex google employees, FriendFeed enables you to show your friends what you are up to over many different networks.
This service allows you to link all your accounts into one place. When you take action on one of your other web services, your feed will be updated linking to the action you took.
Many people are comparing this to the News Feed on facebook, but more open.
If you post a new blog, add a photo to flickr, upload a new video to vimeo, add a video to your favorites on youtube, scrobble a track on last.fm, or one of the other actions totaling at 23 services, it will be added to your feed.

This looks like a promising web service, one that I will use for sure.

This morning I got an email from a friend telling me about this new website. I thought I would sign up although it did seem like another scam. So, I signed up using his referral, and started using the service.
Here is a excerpt from the bux.to website.
At Bux.to, you get paid to click on ads and visit websites. The process is easy! You simply click a link and view a website for 30 seconds to earn money. You can earn even more by referring friends. You’ll get paid $0.01 for each website you personally view and $0.01 for each website your referrals view. Payment requests can be made every day and are processed through PayPal. The minimum payout is $10.00.
Earnings Example
» You click 10 ads per day = $0.10
» 20 referrals click 10 ads per day = $2.00
» Your daily earnings = $2.10
» Your weekly earnings = $14.70
» Your monthly earnings = $63.00
Odds sounded good to me, so I signed up. I posted a link on my twitter and told a couple of friends about it. Well I just checked my account balance and there was $20 dollars in it, Just in one day!
You can also buy referrals, which is something I have never seen before.
Just though I would pass this tip along. Easy money I think.
To sign up, just go to this link here.
And please use octalmage as your referral.
